In the third installment in this study in Genesis, we look at the first two days of creation. God speaks into existence, first, light and creates day and night on Day 1, and then creates the firmament separating the waters on the second day.

0:00 the scriptures proper.
0:03 Is that what he said?
0:04 Something like that with the old testament, scripture properly.
0:07 So we’ll start there were in the first book of the proper scripture in the old testament genesis and working our way through it.
0:18 who has not?
0:20 Well listen, this is the right question I was gonna ask.
0:23 Who has not been here with us.
0:24 Let me just do a quick recap where we’re at and kind of where we’re going.
0:31 we have been recording these so they’re available on and I also put them just if you wanted to, do you have any interest in it?
0:42 I’m kind of I’m not kidding them, but I put a blog on my own personal website.
0:47 This is and so I put it in the blog on that.
0:50 So if you ever want to send the link to anybody, if you see any value in doing that, you can just go to my website and then I grab them and hopefully we might come up with some other place we can put you talked about that at once if there was Atlanta hypnotherapy clinic dot com.
1:11 Block.
1:12 Okay.
1:13 It’s up there in there right now, slack does an interesting thing thing.
1:17 I don’t know if you’ve noticed that it transcribes these.
1:22 All right.
1:22 So if you look and slap below it, it’s actually, you know, it’s an automated transcription.
1:27 It’s not perfect.
1:28 But it’s really interesting that they I guess that’s the service they provide from.
1:33 So, so anyway, your words are in writing on the World wide web.
1:40 So alright so we’ve covered in the first couple of verses got sovereignty, the ex creation idea of something that nothing which is truly a God thing, The introduction of the trinity with the word Elohim.
1:58 So God is presented as a plural.
2:01 All right.
2:02 And then we looked at several related things in the first couple of interest, you know, that second verse is really interesting where it talks about the world being without formal void and the spirit moving upon the the you know, so that has given a lot of allowed for a lot of commentary, particularly those who are trying to wedge in their worldview and their view of science into genesis woman.
2:31 we talked about the the gap theory, framework theory, the day age theory.
2:40 some of those kind of get wedged into genesis last week, we got to the first day and so let’s go back and start there with somebody read for us versus three through five, I will.
3:00 And God said let there be light and there was light.
3:03 God saw that the light was good and he separated the light from the darkness, God called the light day and the darkness, he called night and there was evening and there was morning the first day, Okay.
3:15 And so what I have put up some kind of part of this and the reason I think this area because it’s very interesting when you look at these first six days.
3:24 So we go through in these days and you can think of, these days are establishing the platforms are the spaces in which these will appear.
3:39 Okay, So here we’re gonna talk about what’s, what’s created is like, right, okay.
3:47 And what day is it?
3:49 Day 1?
3:50 It’s Sunday, house got evaluated work.
3:57 What’s it given?
3:59 Okay, good.
4:00 Okay.
4:02 Alright, so this is day one.
4:04 So we have light today Over here in day four, we get the sun and the moon in this, we get the line.
4:16 Okay, day two, we’re going to get kind of earth and all that.
4:22 Talk about the seas and the air, get birds and fishes.
4:27 That’s true.
4:28 Day one, not Monday.
4:47 Alright, so we’re starting on sunday.
4:53 Okay.
4:54 And so, so just let’s hit a few things.
4:59 so how, how does God create this life?
5:03 He speaks?
5:04 He speaks it okay.
5:06 Divine fear.
5:08 The idea that God just speaks okay.
5:10 , so it’s important was created in this debt lot.
5:19 Okay, if you were here last week, ken Montgomery pointed out something that we can’t get trapped in and the more I reflected on that, that’s really neat.
5:28 Do you remember what he said?
5:32 And I, and he caught me because I kind of was thinking this way.
5:36 So I started saying some people say like God is light and so he didn’t create it.
5:41 It was just there already.
5:42 Right?
5:43 Then it just emanated from God.
5:45 Well here we’re told, no, it’s created.
5:47 Okay.
5:48 And created a bill Marlowe and I’ve had this discussion a little bit about lights interesting because it has components of the way.
5:56 It also has published a particle.
5:58 And it’s still, even though we know a lot more about life, there’s still things about like amazing scientists even as they explore.
6:06 So it’s very interesting.
6:11 let’s look real quick at the first chapter of john let me just, I’ll just go where you don’t need to turn this.
6:23 I had marked it in there.
6:27 We’ve already talked about that creation was through Christ in the in the prologue to John the starting in verse four, it says in him was like and the life was the life of men.
6:41 The light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it.
6:44 , there came a man from God whose name was john he came as a witness to testify about the light.
6:54 So that all might believe through him.
6:57 So with that in mind going back to genesis now, what are we told a lot created and what happens next separated the light from the darkness.
7:11 All right.
7:12 So we have this idea of separating light from darkness and then we’re told that light is going to be called And darkness is gonna be called nine and then we’re told something else.
7:28 House the first end up this evening and there was more.
7:33 Okay, so we’re introduced with this, this concept of light and dark when you look at the new testament and light is okay, the life of christ is that light to us?
7:48 So we start seeing this pattern that’s throughout the bible and we’re told that when the evening comes first and then the morning when describing today, so our hebrew friends are going to call a day starting at night.
8:06 And we have, but we’re introduced to this concept of light coming after darkness.
8:12 I just have a question, the term light here in the old testament.
8:17 when the septal region translates into greek, is that the same word they use?
8:25 And john in the gospel of john, good question.
8:30 I don’t know the answer.
8:31 I’m guessing it is, I’m guessing, but I really don’t know.
8:37 I don’t know that there’s a distinction there.
8:39 I didn’t think, I think it is interesting.
8:41 The order of creation was already 1999 really before anyway, but that’s interesting.
8:53 That’s ongoing, correct, correct.
8:56 And so, and so we would look in that context when we’re seeing the night and day associated with light and darkness.
9:04 you know, this idea of what happens early in the morning.
9:08 You know, we’re even on the moonlit night, things are a little foggy in the state and then has the light comes clear.
9:16 Right?
9:17 And so that idea and it’s just so it was not Star Wars that introduced this country.
9:24 Okay, yeah, but I mean creation ends up depending upon that order of the day and night, Light and dark because sleep creation things grow and then rest and all that is dependent upon the order of creation.
9:41 That never changes.
9:42 It’s just that’s their work.
9:46 Alright.
9:46 Any other thought?
9:48 Have you ever thought that you can’t create darkness?
9:51 Your darkness is the absence of light.
9:53 Yeah, it’s the absence of light.
9:55 There is some discussion here and once again this is about my pay grade now this darkness representing something more but it’s it’s kind of got open my head real quick on that idea.
10:08 But yeah, when there’s no light it’s gonna be dark.
10:11 But when there’s light there’s and if you’ve ever had any type of eye issues, you really really learn the importance of a lot.
10:22 Okay.
10:23 How important life is to be able to see.
10:27 Obviously we need to turn the light on sometimes to read.
10:30 But it’s just if you’re having any issues when I recovered from some my servers, I just remember how important having light one.
10:40 All right, let’s enter into I want somebody who has either King James or King James to read our next section.
10:49 This is versus six through Work to try and see six through 8 already then God said let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters.
11:07 Thus, God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament and it was so and God, God called the firmament heaven to the evening and the morning were the second day.
11:21 Okay, so second day and what somebody described to me putting your own words, what was going on here?
11:37 How about Bill?
11:40 Well I think was the atmosphere and the ocean or the lakes and separating there must have been a mass of water and all of a sudden separated the sky.
11:54 And so in in pre day one we’re told that it was without form and void and there was a deep, so we’re introduced right off this comes up to their feet in the water and now something happens, it makes you wonder was it all water to start with interesting but a separation is created.
12:17 Okay, and the separation is created by a very interesting word which the hebrew word would probably pronounced as rocky.
12:24 So what was the, those that have other translations?
12:28 What did you immediately say?
12:30 That’s not in my model.
12:34 Okay, so that takes us to this idea.
12:37 This is the various ways different vials of expanse, which is probably the most modern firmament.
12:47 Even if you have expansion, have a margin of two firmament skies, dumb arch vault high.
13:02 It just means it’s an architectural feature which is a vaulted seal means having an arch, huge space and then this real liberal one.
13:15 Let’s not read that one.
13:17 Okay, alright, so alright, so the word rocky, the closest the hebrew interpreters can come is something like a hard piece of metal beaten out.
13:33 Okay, like brass or gold or something.
13:36 So there’s this concept of hardness that’s there in firmament.
13:42 Was the early translators use of that.
13:46 And somehow in the modern translations we want to know the word expanse, which kind of go ahead and say SV says expands but as a foot notices or canopy canopy, that was another term I saw interpreting it because I sit and raised just too young.
14:05 Okay, alright, so let’s I told you we talked about this a little bit just to give you some conceptual stuff.
14:15 So for about 90% of our history, this is how people have looked at how to interpret this.
14:23 Okay, and this is consistent across almost all cultures until about the year 14, 1500 when it’s starting to change and it was, everybody agrees with this.
14:36 Of course technically we all have the same origin story.
14:40 If they go back, they got creation, then I kinda got it drawn here and kind of give you this early idea and it was an idea that the waters were separated by a dome, a hard dome and the earth was created and there was water that kind of surrounded all the way.
15:01 Okay, so land, water, what we would consider error, sky, this hardness but what did it say?
15:09 What, what did this, this vault here push up.
15:15 All right, so it’s a wonder up here.
15:18 So, when I asked about big questions early on, big questions, like I said, why is the sky blue?
15:25 No, maybe something with the water in there or something reflecting the water down here and then once above that.
15:36 Alright, that’s right.
15:37 Heaven are gods around.
15:40 Okay, So when we got through these verses, we get along, kind of have that in mind.
15:47 So this was this was the prevailing.
15:50 Okay, that there was this, it was all contained.
15:55 Okay.
15:55 So what was what the scripture tells us is out beyond that?
16:03 It doesn’t say.
16:04 Alright.
16:05 So this is this is all that has ever described, that ever described in any way about creation to us.
16:14 Okay, is this right here?
16:16 Okay.
16:17 Kind of self contained thing.
16:19 And so we in our minds when I draw this, you have this it almost is automatic with us.
16:26 You have this floating in space, don’t you kind of perceiving this?
16:31 But they would not have perceived that they would not have even known what we were talking about if we were trying to communicate that.
16:38 But then there is the sun and the moon.
16:41 Yes.
16:42 And we’re gonna talk about All right.
16:44 So, any questions, thoughts on this.
16:46 Just some fascinating stuff.
16:50 Okay.
16:52 All right.
16:53 Let’s film in this here today.
16:56 So, it’s monday and we have the firmament and it tells us a little bit more.
17:05 It goes on to say what the creation of the separating lawyers gives us what we got morning and evening from the live.
17:18 Yeah, it gives us sees right.
17:23 Is this all right?
17:26 So we get, so we get firmament.
17:28 We get seeds and we get into the sky idea is why I put it here interesting.
17:34 What’s the evaluation of monday?
17:40 Alright, Mondays do not get it good.
17:46 So from the beginning, no evaluation.
17:50 Okay.
17:50 All right.
17:51 So if it’s in some ways, I don’t know, it’s just, it’s just the second day now, when we got to the end, you may see on the first day, your translation may say at the very end, you may say day one or one day and then as you go through the other days, it may just say a second day or third day.
18:13 Alright?
18:13 But that day one that kind of emphasizes that this is going to be what a day is.
18:19 All right.
18:21 So if y’all, some of y’all want to get into some craziness.
18:24 Okay.
18:25 you can, you can, I wouldn’t do this in google.
18:30 You might find different search engines like that.
18:32 Go or pray for one of those.
18:34 But, funny stuff talking about this thing called Sky stone, it’s a reel bluestone and people think our media or some people say it comes from the firmament.
18:46 and then this is really interesting too.
18:48 So in 1960 to our government,, was, they had an operation called operation Dominic And it was nuclear testing.
18:59 So for your young people those of us that lived through that we saw the real early stages of the nuclear race going on between the Soviets and the U.
19:11 S.
19:11 And so they had operation dominant.
19:13 And that was testing nuclear weapons as a subset of operation dominant.
19:20 They did operation fish where they did high altitude nuclear explosions.
19:25 They did 31 of them in about a six month period.
19:29 Okay.
19:29 Where they were shooting?
19:30 Which sounds crazy to me why in the world would you shoot a nuclear weapons straight up over us?
19:36 Okay.
19:37 You were in intelligence time.
19:47 I was probably six or 7 that it snowed and the snow.
20:00 It really did.
20:02 No that just tickles everyone in my conspiracy theories because we didn’t know about I guess about the atmosphere explosions but we didn’t know the testing in California or whatever and the assumption was that came to fall out from that but it was eerie and we wanted to put maple syrup on our snow like we normally would do.
20:27 And mother said no we don’t want something’s wrong with that.
20:31 But in that and there’s no telling what it did to the atmosphere.
20:36 Alright so so they shoot these things off.
20:40 These videos are available online of the actual test.
20:43 Okay and you know how a nuclear explosion looks on ground, the plume.
20:49 Okay it looks like that in reverse.
20:51 It looks like they’ve hit something.
20:53 Okay so so and then it gets even creepier.
20:57 Okay so dominate means of the Lord and fish bowl means.
21:03 So it’s a subsection of operation dominant fish bowl of the Lord.
21:08 So was this a modern tower about things going on?
21:13 You know why why were they shooting?
21:16 What did happen as politically what did happen is those tests got the Soviets attention and then they entered into some piece packs with nuclear weapons after that.
21:29 So some nuclear weapons.
21:31 There was another purpose of those tests.
21:34 They didn’t know what altitude they the bomb would be most effective active.
21:40 So they were testing altitudes and they had users signed when the bombs were dropped, the two bombs hit Japan.
21:52 Those fuses were altitude related.
21:56 So when they got to a certain altitude they got the most effect from the bomb blast.
22:03 Okay.
22:08 If you if you go in and search search out, you see that was one of the big purposes.
22:16 Yeah I have no doubt.
22:21 in addition to the the U.
22:23 S.
22:25 It exploded or imploded hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of those on the ground.
22:30 And Russia did thousands.
22:32 And there’s an article that came out last year that in terms of hard minerals and car metals that there is, you know it’s radio activity all throughout the earth that we’re all have been consuming since, you know, since this time period.
22:47 She knows what that health and all those things.
22:56 We have a local nuclear reactor.
23:05 They were testing up here literally.
23:12 The test was what is nuclear waste and bombs essentially due to vegetation and animals and tested on donkeys and stuff and and then it leaked and concrete.
23:26 All of it in circle of education literally see the concrete and you see like, alright, so so alright, so we’ve made it through monday and we made it till 11 30.
23:50 So so we’re we’re working our way there.
23:54 Right, Alright.
23:55 So it gets real interesting this whole idea of this day when we didn’t get to the creation of you can look over there.
24:04 Okay.
24:05 This creation of the lesser light and the greater light and the stars.
24:10 Okay, we don’t see the word sun or moon here.
24:15 So that would be the question for next week.
24:17 Why aren’t they called the sun or the moon here?
24:23 Okay.
24:24 They are later in scripture.
24:25 Okay.
24:26 This is not one of those where it never appears.
24:28 But why are they called that?
24:30 Not called that here?
24:33 Okay.
24:34 I’ll give you a little hint on that answer.
24:36 And that is what to a lot of pagan religions worship and okay.
24:48 And we’re actually told not to deal.
24:51 Okay, you lifted that hand.
24:53 I was just gonna say that area Dawson.
24:56 I understand a lot of people were making you know, a liquor up there right cells because they knew nobody wanted to go there because all the radiation a
